Four ways to get one
Each camera uploads still images to its own folder on MidwestLakeCams. You get a page on this site, and instructions for putting the picture on your own website. An internet connection at the camera is required unless you choose LTE. A camera can also be preconfigured for a Wi-Fi network you already have.
Lodge or harbor Wi-Fi
Standard camera
For a spot that already has Wi-Fi. You connect the camera to your network. It uploads to its own folder from there.
- Best at the lodge, office, or a harbor with Wi-Fi
- You connect it to your network
- Own page and own upload folder

LTE camera
For a dock, launch, or ice house that cannot reach the building Wi-Fi. The camera uses a cellular connection. Internet at the building is not required.
- Works where Wi-Fi does not reach
- Cellular connection instead of your network
- Own page and own upload folder

Preconfigured Wi-Fi
Same camera as the standard one, set up for your Wi-Fi before it ships. You mostly mount it and power it on.
- We enter your Wi-Fi before shipping
- Less setup on your end
- Own page and own upload folder

Preconfigured LTE
The LTE camera, set up before it ships. The simplest choice when the camera is going somewhere with no Wi-Fi and you do not want to fuss with it.
- Set up before it leaves us
- No building internet required
- Own page and own upload folder
Ask about this cameraNot sure which one
If the camera can see the lodge Wi-Fi, start with the standard camera, or the preconfigured Wi-Fi camera if you want it ready for that network. If it is out on the dock, the launch, or an ice house with no signal from the building, use LTE. Tell us the spot and we will help you pick. Email Lakecams@MidwestLakeCams.com for current pricing before you order.

Need a second view?
Some resorts run more than one camera. One on the harbor and one on the access, for example. Each camera keeps its own folder and its own page. Ask about a second camera when you write.
